Dreams society has reached, with the formation of The Hospital in Sabak Bernam District, now has a taste of the local community, access to health services at home. Parking problems, expenses and travel far for treatment has been completed.

Construction of the hospital in Sabak Bernam District also is one of the Ministry of Health project that aims to facilitate and improve the health status of rural communities.

Sabak Bernam District is the northernmost district in the State bordering the State of Perak. The distance is approximately 110 Km from Klang and 40 Km from Teluk Intan, Perak. The district has an area of ‚Äč‚Äčabout 99,700 hectares and a population of approximately 130,000 people. Agriculture and fisheries are the main economic activities in this area.

Sabak Bernam Hospital was built on a 50-acre site near the farm Torkington approximately 1 Km from Pekan Sabak Bernam. Its construction was started with the purchase of farm Torkington site in 1983 with the price of RM 440,000.00. However, according to the concept of the construction project with 93 beds Awakening started in 1990 by the construction company Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn. Bhd. and completed on May 9, 1994. The hospital is priced at RM 37.53 million. Submitted to the Ministry of Health on July 15, 1994. Opening on October 3, 1998 DYYM perfected by the late Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah, naming this hospital named after his mother. Following the Sabak Bernam Hospital changed its name to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Jemaah (HTAJ), Sabak Bernam.

HTAJ is a district hospital without specialists. However, specialized services are provided at the Specialist Clinic visit. Hospital Board of Visitors was the liaison between the hospital and provide services komuniti.HTAJ Administration, 24-hour Emergency Care, Outpatient Treatment Inpatient Treatment Clinic (Visits) and visit and home treatment services through Community Psychiatry. Whereas Support Services, including Medical Records, Pharmacy and Supplies, Rehabilitation, Imaging and Diagnostics, Pathology, Dietetics & Food, Hemodialysis, Disinfection, Engineering, Training & Quality and Infection Control.

Support services are provided from outside Cleaning, Maintenance Engineering Facilities, Laundry, Household Biomedical, Clinical Waste Management which has been privatized to Syarikat Radicare Sdn Bhd with effect from 1 January 1997. The Security Services Hospital has also been privatized on October 17, 1994 until now.

The process of service delivery to patients conducted in a controlled manner in accordance with the procedures and other methods prescribed. HTAJ Management also provides effective communication with customers through open Counter, Gathering, Mailing, Preparation Brochures Health and Human Services, Research Customer Satisfaction and Customer Feedback, Suggestion Box, Charter, Health Education Assistance Program and Telecommunication.

HTAJ attach great importance to quality service delivery and secure. Accreditation of Hospital Tengku Ampuan Jemaah Sabak Bernam was conducted for the first time in November 2000. HTAJ is the first hospital in the State receiving accreditation status. HTAJ been through 5 cycles and Accreditation status is maintained until June 2018.

In June 2006 the Hospital has received the MS ISO 9001: 2000 for 3 years. The launch of the new version of MS ISO 9001: 2008 was launched on February 5, 2009 and was audited in June 2009. HTAJ successfully obtained the MS ISO 9001: 2008 to 2012. Through subsequent judgments, the status is maintained until June 2018.Persijilan Baby Friendly Hospital belong HTAJ since 2000. certification is maintained until November 2017.HTAJ has also received 5S certification in the Pharmacy and Supply Unit to the MPC (Malaysian Productivity Corporation) since 2011. it has been through four cycles and certification is maintained until November 2017.Indikator quality and patient safety goals is monitored and evaluated its performance on an ongoing basis. Preventive measures and improvements are always conducted from time to time.

Tengku Ampuan Jemaah Morning Assembly has carried out activities for members of all units. Normally the morning assembly was the first week of every month on a monthly basis. Hospital Choir and members involved in Morning Assembly will sing lagu'Negaraku '' a Healthy 'and' Ready to Help '. Some current topics, advice and short message will be delivered by the Director of the Charity Hospital in addition to performances of selected units.

Hari Raya celebration, Nurse Day Celebration and farewell ceremonies that will pensionable members and moved also been conducted in order to foster harmonious relations hospital.Program members such as Disaster Training Disaster Accident, Fire Training and Disaster Training Bot Karam ongoing and aims to expose to members how to deal with a disaster event.

HTAJ will continue to make improvements in order to provide quality services to meet customers' expectations. The next dream is to be upgraded from the status HTAJ Without Specialist Hospital to Hospital Minor to meet the requirements and needs of the rural people and the realization of the vision, mission MOH towards excellence.
