Introduction

Diagnostic Imaging unit is a support unit that commenced operations since the start of operations Tengku Ampuan Jemaah Hospital. The structure of this unit consists of an examination room, a dark room and a desk. Equipment found in this unit is a static X-ray machine, an x-ray machine mudahgerak and two film processing machines x-ray.Satu new Doppler ultrasound machine unit acquired in December 2016.

Mission

Providing services based on quality imaging capabilities that have to give satisfaction to the customers with the best produce radiographs to ensure the proper and effective diagnosis can be realized.

Being a unit that is always sensitive to the needs of customers and the latest technologies in providing efficient imaging service, quality and style.

Objectives

Provides diagnostic imaging services are efficient, effective and quality in line with the requirements of diagnosis and lead to customer satisfaction.

Scope and Function

The main function of the Diagnostic Imaging Unit is to provide imaging for the evaluation, diagnosis and early detection of diseases.

Radiology services provided to patients in the ward, Emergency and Trauma Unit, Outpatient Unit and mortuary.

Ultrasound services provided to patients of the Outpatient Department, Clinic, Emergency wards. The service is run on Sunday the Second and Fourth Wednesday of each month.

Radiograph requiring reports sent to the radiologist at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang.Laporan for special examination can be obtained within 1 month.

Appointment for special examinations (CT Scan, MRI, Fluoroscopy and Mammography) shall be made through the unit and the unit will send the relevant documents to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital, Klang to get an appointment.

Diagnostic Imaging Unit will operate during office hours on call after hours, weekends and public holidays. The units that require the application of radiological examinations after hours should contact radiographer in charge of the call.

Charter

1. Each customer will receive a good service, friendly, considerate, respectful, polite, honest and sincere.

2. Any customer will be given the best service, adhere to standard code and rules set

3.Service x-ray which will be completed within 45 minutes if no problems arise.

4. Each case is defined as an emergency, critical and seniors will take precedence.

5.All personal details and medical customers will be kept secret from the public.
